Who Am I

I’m Kashmira Kakalia – a passionate Mental Health Professional, Narrative Therapist, and Special Educator with a mission to empower every individual I work with.

My goal is to nurture social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth, while instilling confidence, critical thinking, and lifelong learning skills. I strive to make each person—especially those with ADHD, learning disorders, or special educational needs—more resilient, independent, and prepared to thrive in their own unique way.

Current Scope of Work

Available In-Clinic & Online

I work with individuals across all age groups—students, young adults, adults, and senior citizens—offering both individual sessions and group therapy. My work also includes designing and facilitating mental health workshops focused on self-growth, resilience, emotional regulation, and social well-being.

Therapeutic Approach

I believe that people are the true experts of their own lives. My practice is rooted in the principles of Narrative Therapy—a respectful, non-blaming therapeutic approach that supports individuals in separating themselves from their problems.

Through this process, I help clients identify their values, skills, and inner strengths, enabling them to respond to challenges with greater clarity and purpose. Together, we explore and re-author personal stories in a way that promotes empowerment, reduces self-blame, and fosters emotional resilience.

With students—particularly those requiring special education or support for learning disorders such as ADHD, dyslexia, or dyspraxia—I use a multi-sensory, individualized approach tailored to their unique learning styles. These therapeutic interventions are designed to build life skills, promote emotional and social development, and strengthen self-esteem, ultimately enabling them to become confident and self-sufficient in life.
